I have never heard of Klook until researching my trip to Taiwan. They were recommended as a solution to a transportation dilemma by a stranger in a common Facebook travel group. Between my trips to Taiwan and Hong Kong, friends and I have now used Klook for four different services and they all worked out exactly as advertised. No complaints.
In Taiwan we both used Klook to arrange transportation to and from the airport. It was only a few dollars more expensive than public transportation, they were waiting for us with a clearly marked sign and it was fast and efficient.
My friends used them to rent a hot spot which was easy to pick up and worked the entire trip.
In Taiwan, we used them to arrange transportation to Shifen, Jiufen and the Keelung night market. They were the perfect solution. I didn’t want to waste any precious time trying to make public transportation connections work, we didn’t want a tour, and a private driver for the day was a little pricey. This was the perfect solution – just transportation to all the sights we wanted to see. At the end of this day, we would have changed the amount of time spent at each location, but the trip was exactly as advertised.
And finally, because it worked out in Taiwan, I used Klook to buy advance tickets for an evening Junk boat sail in Hong Kong. But even once in Hong Kong, we were actually standing in line for Victoria Peak and logged into Klook to get a discount and cut out the line. Needless to say, I am a fan and will use it again and again while traveling.
