While work will prevent me from going too far overboard, I still have a lot of travel plans for 2022. I tried to create a realistic plan that is flexible to wherever we might be with the pandemic.

Niagra Falls in the Spring – While I’ve been to Niagra several times, I’ve read one of the best times to visit is in the spring. I look forward to seeing the beauty of the falls as the ice breaks up.

Big Foot Conference – My cousin goes every year but I’ve never been able to go with her. This is the year. While I am not necessarily a believer, I do love to learn about new things and to hear what others are passionate about.

New York City – I love New York City and since I’ve been living overseas I haven’t been since early 2018. I look forward to returning this amazing city.

Finish the Camino de Santiago in Spain – In 2018 I walked from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port France to Burgos Spain. After a quick stop in Madrid, I will now take three weeks to finish walking from Burgos to Santiago.

Walk Cinque Terre and the Amalfi Coast – As long as I am already in the area and have my walking shoes, after a few days eating in Rome I plan to continue my travels on foot to walk the beautiful coast lines of Cinque Terre and Amalfi coast.

Paris – I love Paris and try to stop there or in London every time I am in Europe. I can’t wait to just walk around the city.

Kanas City – I really want to return to Kanas City and visit the World War I museum.

South Africa – In the fall we have a two week trip to South Africa planned that includes a Safari, Johannesburg and Cape Town. Really looking forward to exploring.

Caribbean – And still in the planning stages is a winter trip to go diving and enjoy the sun. If you have any recommendations, let me know.

That’s my list. Hopefully you have your own. Here’s to 2022!!
