On a quick visit to Los Angeles our friends took us to THE LAST BOOKSTORE. It is a quirky combination of new and old books with an upstairs book labyrinth and galleries of small artists shops (and an art vending machine! Why don’t more of these exist?) I could have stayed in there forever! I highly recommend a visit. (And if you’re looking for the paranormal section, it’s in the bank vault upstairs.)
