Last spring, some girlfriends and I went to the Eastern Shore for a day trip.  Cambridge Maryland is home to Harriet Tubman and takes pride in their collection of outdoor murals.  And while they have an official self-guided tour, there are many unofficial murals that are worth seeing as well.  Here are the ones we were able to find:

Stop 1:  Dorchester Visitors Center – Waterman

Stop 2:  Maryland Ave and Route 50 (on the right as you come into town) – African American Heritage

Stop 3:  2759 Dorchester Square (side of the theater next to Walmart) – Wizard of Oz

Stop 4:  200 Trenton St (Rail Caboose) – Geese

Stop 5:  Short Stop Food Mart on Washington – Bet On Yourself

Stop 6:  1024 Cosby Ave – Coretta Scott King

Stop 7:  Harriet Tubman Museum

Stop 8:  432 Race Street – Mosaic

Stop 9:  527 Poplar – Interior water scene

Stop 10 – 108 Commerce – Birds

Attached is a link to the “official” mural trail. Note that it doesn’t include all that I have here.

Additionally, while in the area, I definitely recommend a stop at Emily’s Produce and the Harriet Tubman Museum. Emily’s Produce has been around for several generations and has an amazing selection of fruit, vegetables and pastry. It would be impossible to leave there without buying something!
