Air BnBs were a bit pricey in Hong Kong so we decided to go with Hotwire to keep costs down. We ended up at the Best Western Hotel Harbor View (239 Queen’s Road West) for $96.50 a night. What can I say, it was fine. The location was great. We liked the neighborhood, it was a two minute walk from the MTR, and was a block away from a nice café for breakfast. On the other hand, the rooms were small, the shower was hand held and the front desk & breakfast staff were not particularly nice or helpful. Although to note, the housekeeping staff was very friendly and considerate!
However, I am still a huge fan of Hotwire. When I am traveling to a large city, want to keep costs down and don’t particularly care where I stay, Hotwire provides a reliable and affordable option.
